For aggressive environments or severe EMC conditions, nickel-plated brass or stainless steel cable glands offer mechanical strength and salt spray resistance >1,000 hours. The EMSKV version extends the thread without reworking the housing.

The EX range — brass or stainless steel —, including end caps and adapters, is certified up to 5 bar / 30 min for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. Special inserts prevent flame propagation while maintaining the temperature range of -60 °C / +85 °C.
